Recommendation spa hotel n Cotswolds/Oxfordshire?

wondering if anyone can help with recommendations for a 2 night stay at nice hotel with pool/spa for myself and BFF for our 50th bday. Looking to be walking distance to market town with pubs and shops for a wander. Thanks in advance ! Travelling by car after the Abba concert in London back to Scotland for looking for a wee chilled mini break!

Can't beat Calcot

Hoar Cross Hall in Staffordshire is amazing but very pricey now. It's also quite isolated, nowhere to walk to but so much going on there and the food is fabulous.
