Me and two teen DCs are going to London in the summer for a few days. I'm wondering if I can extend the holiday a bit by staying somewhere near London for a night or two. I'm imagining some place with a swimming pool and some kind of activity - maybe a sport or a forest.
Centre Parcs were incredibly expensive when I last looked. All the other things I can find are very upmarket hotels.
Is there anything like this I haven't discovered? We'd be dependent on trains / taxis as we won't have the car with us.
