We are visiting family in Scotland for the first summer visit since pre-Covid and I am absolutely horrified at the prices! We were over in February and paid about 300£ for a 7-seater, brand-new VW Sharan for a week. A similar car is looking like £1500 plus insurance in July!! I knew it would be more expensive but that's just... Anyway, a friend suggested Turo which is kind of an AirBnB for cars. It's American, and IDK how well developed it is in the UK. Ther's one car on there that's a good option for our stay but there are no reviews and there doesn't seem to be an option to ask questions of the host / owner before booking.
Anyone used it in the UK?
