Looking for Haven/Park Dean Lake District Recommendations

Family of 5. DC are all primary age. We normally go to haven primrose valley but would like to try the lake District this year. There seem to be so many to choose from.
Can anyone recommend a lovely clean one and perhaps some things to do locally?

Many thanks!

I think Fallbarrow is Park Dean now.Great location within easy walking distance of Bowness on Windermere pier and town. Beautiful lake views from the park.

Ooh lovely I was looking at that yesterday as it happens.

There's no pool as there is with Whitehaven, but I prefer Fallbarrow as it's a smaller and nicer site and you're within walking distance of everything else.

Sounds great thanks for that. We are going in August so hopefully the gorgeous weather will be with us!

There's only one Haven park actually in the Lake District - Lakeland. There are a couple nearer Blackpool though. Of Marton Mere & Cala Gran we preferred Cala Gran.

We last went to Lakeland about 20 years ago so unfortunately can't comment on the current standards.

Definitely Fallbarrow! We stay in a lodge every year (3 years, 4 this year). The lodges are lovely and clean, the park is beautiful and you are 2 min walk from the center of Bowness. Can't recommend it highly enough.
