Best offers for travelling?

I thinking about traveling by plane around the UK. I don't have any particular destination I want to go to, but I'm looking for an affordable price or a good offer any ideas where to look?

A lot of places in the UK are quicker reached by train than plane. The budget airlines Ryanair and Easyjet offer some low prices on certain routes and dates, but they aren't always the cheapest, particularly once you factor in their extra charges for baggage etc.
