Cheshire Oakes/ Trafford centre stay

I'm taking DD (16) for her birthday from the midlands to Cheshire Oakes then onto the Trafford centre with an overnight stop.

Where should we look at staying? Just somewhere to have a nice meal and relax, ready to shop til we drop! 😂

If you want to stay around Cheshire Oaks there are some lovely hotels around 15mins away but they are towards Chester - Craxton Wood, Crabwell Manor, Mollington Banastre and Inglewood.

Near Manc Airport and just off the M56 is Marriott at the airport. Not sure about any near the Trafford Centre - enjoy !

I’d stay in Chester - it has its own shops (if you can face more shopping) but also cultural and has plenty of cafes/restaurants and the river Dee .10 minutes from Cheshire oaks and straight down the m56 from Manchester.
actually I’ve just talked my self into a day out in Chester!

Are you doing Cheshire oaks one day and Trafford centre the next?
id probably stay in Chester if you are, then drive to the TC the next morning. There’s a premier inn in the car park of the TC but I’m not sure I’d wish an evening at the TC on my worst enemy! Or you could go somewhere between the two, there’s a couple of hotels just off the M56 near Warrington (Park Royal, Daresbury Park and Village Daresbury).

Avoid Daresbury Park! It's really run down these days. The Park Royal is lovely but pricey. What's your budget?

The Premier Inn at Little Sutton is quite convenient and there is a nice pub round the corner for a meal.

I’d probably drive up and do Cheshire oaks, then stay in Chester itself.

in the morning drive across to the Trafford centre and back home from there.

Definitely don't go to the Daresbury Park Hotel.
