Is it possible to do St Ives/Ilfracombe on a budget?

...in early September and without camping? Any suggestions for places to stay welcome! We're not bothered about actually staying smack bang in the middle of the towns, happy to be out of the way a bit and walk into town, if that's feasible.

They are quite different places. I know st ives very well but not ilfracombe.

Can you say what sort of accommodation, how many people, what budget?

Infracombe yes for sure. Lots of B&Bs k, they are cheaper the higher up the hill you go!
