Looking for may bank holiday next year 2023.
Would like to self cater and be near open space and have parking if any one has actually places to recommend .
For 2 people hoping for around 650 max

We stayed here and loved the location www.coppermines.co.uk/locations/coniston-water/

We stayed in Coniston too and it was lovely.

All depends on what you want to see and do, Keswick is a very nice town with plenty to see and do and a great base.
Some ideas here www.donthibernate.co.uk/route-9-the-lakes/

Try Lakeland Village near Newby Bridge. Nice self catering apartments with really good parking

We stayed in an Airbnb in Ulverston Town centre before and loved the location. Great to have pubs and restaurants to walk to after days out round the lakes.

Ambleside is our favourite spot which we return to regularly
