Just for me and a friend.
He's veggie, I'm easy
Nothing too expensive but good food

Thanks Smile

What about a trip to Borough Market, naice mooch around the stalls and you can both choose what you fancy?

We have the theatre in the evening so borough market a bit far
(Sad I love borough market)

222 vegan is well reviewed. Not been there personally as not my thing but always seems busy.

The ivy restaurants have decent vegetarian menus. I also like Nopi.

Throughabushbackwards · 29/03/2022 16:30

The Delaunay? Either the cafe or the restaurant are lovely.

What's your budget? Hakkasan and Gymkhana both do lunch deals that are substantially cheaper than their evening menus. With Hakkasan, you get a cocktail too. So long as you don't want more than one or two drinks, you can dine really well for about £50 a head. I seem to remember it's an easy tube to Kensington from there too. Great veggie food at both.

Comptoir Libanais has lots of veggie dishes and there’s a branch at South Kensington, but I don’t know if you’d consider it ‘naice’. Pierino is good for vegetarians.

roarfeckingroarr · 29/03/2022 16:45

Polpo. The soho branch isn't far from theatre land.

The Wallace Collection building has a lovely restaurant, really spacious and not that pricey ( I haven't been for 5 years though).

Scullys St James has gorgeous food and is great for veggies. In the Mayfair area.

heartofgrass · 29/03/2022 20:17

What about Farmacy

Mufflette · 29/03/2022 20:29

Coco Momo in Gloucester Road?
