DP and I have been impressed with the beautiful scenery in coronation street

Would like to take dd1 3 and dd2 who will be 18 months in spring, we enjoy walking and nature and would be looking for a cottage to rent for long weekend..

Can anyone recommend anywhere they have been or share their experiences???? Have very little knowledge of the area!

Thanks

we rented a cottage through lakelovers in the lake district for a family reunion for my parents 30th wedding anniversary and they were fab

here

Cater for everything from 2 people to 12 people and all over the lakes so fantastic imho.

If your dc's like Beatrix Potter head south to windemere/bowness coz they have the Beatrix Potter experience which we as a family ranging from mum and dad and Kids from 28 to 21 loved!! and were surrounded by smaller kids too

the couple who rent these cottages out are lovely. Each cottage has a huge file with details of all the local attractions and they keep a stack of dvds you can rent from them.
