Recommendations for self catering places for 7 in the UK?

Might be last big family holiday (older children now at uni, and parents over) and was looking for somewhere nice. I have googled, but always like going with personal suggestions. Any ideas?

Great for teenagers. Walking distance to the town

Sorry just realised not teenagers. But still great to get into the town, boat trips to Rock and close to so many attractions.

Thank you - they both look good, particularly the boutique retreats, but are unfortunately booked for when we are able to go. Any other suggestions?

Complete opposite end of the country in Northumberland! Bit less luxurious but still lovely. Not as well situated but close to so much, we used it as a base for 2 weeks. www.villagefarmcottages.co.uk/index.cfm
