Family hotel, one night, M4/M3 corridor

I am looking for suggestions please.

Luxury hotel, one night only, pool ideally. Coming from London, Devon, Surrey and Yeovil areas so wanting somewhere in the middle-ish.

Suitable for extended family celebrating a 90th Birthday, with children, grandchildren and great grandchildren,

Rural / country vibe, relaxed but special, good food.

Am I searching for something that does not exist?

Please could you offer me suggestions.

Thanks in advance

East Sussex national golf club?

Oh might be a bit off the m4/3 corridor, sorry!

Heard good things about Woolley Grange

Four Seasons Hampshire- just off M3 at junction 4- prob horrendously expensive but lovely grounds, and not too stuffy feeling.

Alternatively- have heard really good things about the Cotswolds water park. I think there is a hotel there.

Another vote for Woolley Grange

How about somewhere near Bath? These two hotels are a 1-5-20 minute drive away.

Woolley Grange is super child-friendly. For somewhere smarter which still welcomes children, have a look at Lucknam Park.

Tylney Hall in Hook is nice. Indoor and heated outdoor pools, lovely grounds and a great restaurant.

Another vote for Four Seasons Hampshire!
