I'm looking for something for my DH birthday weekend for us and our 5 year old. 2 nights.
A cottage/cabin/lodge or something like that maybe with a hot tub in a good location so we can have a day out or see some sights nearby?
Any recommendations? I have no idea where to start looking. Any companies that deal with this?
Would be grateful for any specific recommendations from personal experiences.
Thanks 😊

Randomly, the Legoland Hotel near Windsor has special out-of-season deals, when the Legoland Resort is closed. It has lego themed rooms (with a 'treasure hunt' in your room to find a Lego present for each child), and a Lego themed restaurant and a Lego swimming pool.

You could use it as a base and then go to visit Windsor Town Centre and Windsor Castle. Plus I think you are near Bracknell Forest (which has an amazing science museum and playground)

Where in the country are you looking?

I went to West Park Lodge for a wedding a few years ago. Their Garden Lodge rooms had a sauna and Jacuzzi area. The grounds had massive arboretums to walk around its on the tube line for London if you want other things to see and do.

Forest holidays or a lot of the big caravan site operators such as Hoseasons and Parkdean have sites with lodges and hot tubs.

york

We stayed at this place in York. It’s only a few miles from the town centre. York and the surrounding area is absolutely lovely for a weekend visit.

The Piglets is absolutely lovely as well.
