Natural History Museum Queues in school holidays

I’ve read posts before about long queues outside the natural history museum in school holidays - if you have visited recently, can you tell me if this is still the case even with the current arrival time slot booking system? If we were to book a 10am time slot, are we realistically going to need to be there well before 10am? Going in the Easter hols Thanks

There are two queues, if you've booked tickets you won't need to queue for long, 10 mins maybe. We were later then our timeslot and there were no issues with that either. The walk-in queue looked a different matter though!
