Where to park up for the night

We have booked a camper van for a week and will be picking it up from York and driving to the Jurassic coast for three nights, then Cheddar Gorge for two nights. We're looking for somewhere to spend the night between York and the Jurassic coast to break up the trip there and between cheddar gorge and York to break up the trip back.

We have two teenagers and a dog. If anyone has any suggestions of where we could visit and stay somewhere close overnight that would be great. Maybe somewhere where we could fill in half a day.

Lincoln Farm Park is both dog friendly and teen friendly - it has a decent games room and 2 indoor pools. The name is a bit misleading - it’s actually between Oxford and the Cotswolds. If you stayed there, you could easily fill a day at Cotswold Water Park.
Possibly slightly less of a detour is Ranch Caravan Park. It’s got an outdoor pool (heated) which is open from May. It’s close to Stratford Upon Avon. Dogs on leads are allowed in the outdoor areas of Hall’s Croft, Shakespeare’s New Place, Shakespeare’s Birthplace and Anne Hathaway’s cottage. They’re also allowed on the Avon Boating rides.
