Accommodation in new forest.

Has anyone got any recommendations for staying in new forest hampsire?
I have two children so wanting to vist peppa pig world,wildlife park....are there other things to do anyone can recommend,nice places to walk etc?
I dont want to stay in a hotel so any houses /cottages that anyone has stayed in that they could recommend would be appreciated.

We stayed at Sandy Balls which is about 20mins from PPW

They had horses staying in the stables across the courtyard from the cottages. The cottages had fenced gardens. It was lovely - very peaceful but within easy reach of the forest.
