Special Birthday - amazing food & dog friendly

I have a big birthday coming up this year (June) and plan on being away in the UK so that we can take ddog with us.

I would love to go to a Michelin star restaurant but we'll have ddog so not sure that's going to be possible.

Ideally, I'd like to stay somewhere like the lakes, where I can leave ddog for an evening to go for a meal and where there are lots of gorgeous walks.

I'm open to going anywhere in the UK. Most recently been to the Lakes & loved it.

Any recommendations Most welcome.

Lords of the Manor in the Cotswolds, Forest Side in the Lakes and The Cavendish Hotel in the Peak District

Haweswater Hotel in the Lakes is remote, quirky and dog friendly. Food is amazing and dogs can sit with you in casual bar dining area. The nearby Askham hall is Michelin starred (I think).

Thank you both! I'll check them out.

The fish in the cotswolds.

I don’t think it’s actually Michelin starred, but Harry’s Shack in Portstewart would find your brief. The North Coast of NI is beautiful and has become an increasingly foodie destination in recent years. You would have to get the ferry though.

I've booked Haweswater. It looks absolutely stunning and there's so much to do!

Thank you for the recommendation.

No dogs at Grantley hall now.

As lovely as Grantley Hall is, it's a touch out of my price range
