New restaurants/cuisines to try in london with teens

Looking for some restaurants to visit during a few days in London with 4 teens. Will do China Town and dim sum but looking for some other options to try for something different to the usual restaurants in the provinces but not too expensive. Borough market for lunch one day perhaps. Presume all tapanyaki options would be very expensive?

Also interested in replies!

Brasserie Zedel is very authentic French, but very much brasserie style not fancy haute cuisine. Also a very attractive setting inside.

Kricket is excellent Indian

Munich Cricket Club is a great and inexpensive German place, ideally go in the evening when they have a ridiculous but actually good oompa band.

Mercato is really good - loads of food stands with all kinds of cuisines - a bit like Borough Market, but with more indoor seating and I would say more variety.

DD and her friends are planning a trip to Crome London this week- it’s a French toast cafe.

You can’t book at the Elephant and Castle mercato, but you can at the Mayfair one. I’ve been to the Elephant one a few times pre Covid, on weekday lunch times, and it was always fine to find a space, lots of long trestle tables.

Dishoom for amazing Indian food, Nanban for Japanese fusion (there’s one in Seven Dials Market mentioned by PP), Club Mexicana for vegan Mexican (also Seven Dials), Leong’s Legend for Taiwanese, Tokyo Diner for Japanese (both in Chinatown), Bubala for Middle Eastern (East London near Liverpool St) - there’s loads to choose from. The London food scene is amazing.

Mine always love the food stalls by the south bank centre, we all get something different

Korean? You can cook your own meat on a hot plate at the table if you fancy that? There are several good Korean places in Soho - Arang is my favourite.
