Where would you recommend for seeing a show at Haymarket?

I was thinking Clos Maggiore but the pre theatre menu doesn't look all that

I like Wild Honey, although more for the atmosphere and service than the food. There isn’t a pre-dinner menu but they serve from 5pm Wed - Sunday.
Aquavit, Cicchetti and Brasserie Zedel are also very popular.

Pre-theatre dinners really scare me after a bad experience at a restaurant at the Lowry, Manchester. We were dining on a pre-theatre menu at a restaurant on the theatre complex, but they were so slow we barley made it out on time - one member of the group stayed behind to pay while the rest of us ran across, thankfully they made it just in time too, but we were very concerned they might not be allowed in. We were probably just unlucky, but since then I have been reluctant to dine on a pre-theatre menu. Instead I favour a nice, big, late lunch sitting down at about 2pm-3pm and then having a small snack afterwards. Then I can really enjoy my food without clock watching.
