I stayed next door at the Aloft - I really liked it.

But it's not an individual boutique one if that's what you're after.

Sunborn yaught is lovely.

The aloft is really nice, affordable too. It’s not a super nice boutique hotel but nice staff and lovely facilities (spa, pool). Rooms good too and lots of nice options to Deliveroo.

There are luxury apartment complexes on the leamouth peninsula which may come up on air bnb if you wanted your own space?

Loved it, I’d recommend too

I'd recommend Sunborn Yacht too. Also tip on booking- we used booking.com, but on arrival they told us that they often upgrade people to better rooms if they book direct. Apparently the price is the same, but they are trying to incentivise direct bookings.

I always stay at the Hilton, its well priced, on the river and rhey have a shuttle service to canary wharf and the trains.

Thank you all

Please can you tell me:

Is the yacht floating or on dry dock?

Are the rooms small like cabins?

Google it

Sunborn is great! It’s floating but fixed gangway! Rooms are a decent size. Aloft is also good and perfect for Excel

Somersetlady · 05/12/2021 18:39

@thickthighs73 I have done so and already looked at the website before I started this thread

It does not make clear if it is floating and you can feel movement or not hence my question –

It’s in the water....anyone who has been to dock lands near excel would have passed by it

Somersetlady · 05/12/2021 19:28

Yes @Kitkat151 I can see that but it is a permanent fixture so maybe attached and static as opposed to rocking🤷‍♀️

Are you having a bad day?

And I’m coming from another country so I have never walked by it………

Where will you be arriving at , will you have to isolate at a hotel near your arrival point or can you travel directly to excel.
