Wildlife parks for birthday in January?

I've got a big birthday coming up in January and thought of doing something different ie a wildlife experience. I am gutted to find that Longleat is closed in January as I haven't been there since I was a kid.

I'd like to go away for my birthday weekend and visit a zoo or park, maybe even have an experience such as feeding or handling. I've thought of Bristol as it's close to S.Wales where I live but again I haven't been there for years. Any recommendations?

You could stay overnight at London Zoo in one of their lodges? It isn't cheap but...they have availability in February (nothing in January unfortunately):

Or they do a similar stayover at Whipsnade but it's a little cheaper. Booking for 2022 doesn't open until December.

Depemding just how much you want to treat yourself you can stay with the tigers at Port Lympne in Kent but it's really really really really expensive. They do have lots of other options for accommodation though
