Cardiff with not kids

We are having a very rare night away with no children. Last time was probably pre Covid.

We will be in Cardiff and I wanted to book somewhere for an early dinner, but Cardiff has changed so much. Any recommendations for a nice but casual relaxed dinner?

Thanks

The Potted Pig
Chapel 1877 is amazing, but it’s fine dining and fairly dressy.

Ty Madeira, a lovely Portuguese independent

Had a lovely lunch downstairs at Bacareto last week and looking forward to trying the upstairs dining room soon. Relaxed and stylish, excellent food. Never had a bad meal from Grady Atkins (the chef there who's had a few places and pop ups in Cardiff over the years).

Pasture is excellent - just at the top of St Mary St, on High St

If you eat red meat, Pasture is great.
