Any recommendations for good hotels close to Sheffield uni (or at least easy travel there) Going for a visit next month, room to sleep three needed.

There’s a couple of Premier Inns in the city centre; I prefer the one nearest the cathedral.

My dad loves the Rutland - it’s very oldy worldy! It’s a short walk away. Lots of chains in the city centre - premier inn, travelodge, jury’s inn etc etc. The Mercure is bang in the centre too if you’re feeling flush!

Thanks for the suggestions. Trying a serviced apartment this time but agree the Rutland looks lovely. I always love a premier inn but we decided on site parking would be useful. If we take the train in future then it’ll be back to premier inn
