Heathrow Airport Hotel

Can anyone recommend an airport hotel at Heathrow with family rooms to sleep two adults and two children? Preferably near terminal 5 if possible.

The cheapest room options are the budget hotel chains like Travelodge and Premier Inn. Family rooms are normally the same price as the standard double/twin rooms and you might find promotions like kids eat free for breakfast in the restaurants. The downside of is the size of the bedrooms and the likelihood that your kids will be sleeping on sofa beds.
The full service four star hotels can be expensive during the week but are often cheaper at weekends. Obv their main target is businessmen. There are definite pluses in terms of room sizes, comfort and activities to occupy the children.
We like the Executive King Rooms at Thistle for T5.

Thank-you! I’d had a look and noticed a lot of the options would have had the kids sharing a bed (or a sofa bed) and wasn’t keen on that!
