I need some help. Planning a 2 day trip to London with my 14 yr old dd in 3 weeks. She deserves a treat as we've had a difficult year. Planning on doing a couple of last minute shows and have hotel booked near charingcross Page 8. What else can we do she's not a big shopper would like to do something "fun" her words. She likes history and art and is a dancer too. Pointe shoe fitting at bloch covent garden already booked for one morning.any advice on activities and more fun places to have dinner really appreciated . She's been before and done the usual ie tower & place

I'm like a stuck bloody record on these threads, but DD 15 likes Inamo partly because of the food but mostly due to the interactive tabletop. We are off to some crazy golf place soon, it's in Camden, not been before but looks fun, called Plonk I think. She loves a bookshop and a recent outing was to the Waterstones in Piccadilly followed by the ice-cream parlour at Fortnum and Mason. V and A if she likes such things? DD loves music and Pizza Express Jazz All-stars was an unexpected hit.

Sorry me again, guessing you've looked at the ballet/opera rather than just shows, but I had an email yesterday about La Traviata at the ROH which opens soon and is just lovely.

The cable cars from Grenwich over to london are great fun.

Sky garden is fab...... Its also free.

When we go to London we always get a fancy picnic from Harrods then eat it in Hyde park.
