Edinburgh pubs and restaurants please

We are going to Edinburgh for three nights at the end of October and staying in courtyard Marriott (I think). We need some good food recommendations please.
Maybe a nice restaurant for one night and then some others that aren't too expensive for the other nights.
We probably plan to go to Arthur's seat and Edinburgh castle while we are there. Are there any other must do's?

I’d recommend the Real Mary King Close, the Cadies and Witcheries tour and Camera Obscura

The witchery for dinner is lovely.

Wedgwood is lovely, or Kitchin at Leith.

I think dishoom is a bit over rated personally. You’re so central there is so much choice. Depends what your likes/tastes are?

The dome will have all the Christmas decorations up by then which is so pretty. Recommend going for a mince pie and coffee.
