Travelling from the north west uk by car.

Need to find somewhere on the outskirts of London to drive to on a Saturday evening and stay over.

Ideally want a hotel with parking near a train or underground station with fast/good links into central London by train or underground.

We need to travel into central London (ideally by train) early on a Sunday morning (7ish) so no more than 30 mins. It seems the places we usually go to (Elstree/ Borehamwood) have track engineering work which means a bus is used. This would make us late.

Can anyone help?

Watford? Loads of hotels with parking near station and a quick 20 mins into Euston.

Sorry. Don't know where that massive pile of text came from.

We park at Westfields in White City usually. Parking prices are reasonable for overnight and you can get the Central Line into central London

Given its likely to be fairly busy the night before the marathon Id see availability and pricing.
Other options I would suggest:
Borhamwood a number of hotel options with car parks and train station a reasonable walk
Brent Cross / Hendon Holiday inn just at the end of the M1 and Premier Inn / Travel Lodge in Hendon.
Staines several options easy to get to from M40 and fastish train into Waterloo.

Wembley lots of hotels and tube. Parking used to be free on Sunday
