Where to stay near Eden Project?

I've never been to Cornwall before and I would like to go next year. I'd really like to go to the Eden project.

I have 2 main questions;

Where to stay? Everyone says Cornwall is beautiful, but it's a big place! Where is nice to stay? Would like to be in walking distance of places to eat in the evening. Not to far from the coast.

Would we need more than 1 day to do the Eden project in? It looks like there's lots to look at, would 2 days there be better?

I went there for the first time this Summer. One day was enough to see everything - you might need to pre-book the zip wire activities if you're going to want to do that as well.

We found that one day was enough but we arrived early and stayed until closing time (6pm). We stayed at Megavissey and did The Lost Gardens of Heligan too.
