Relaxed birthday meal London

We are staying at county hall premier inn bu the London eye.

Can anyone suggest a relaxed informal place to have a 18th birthday meal nearby?

We don't want to take fancy clothes etc. We love steak and burgers.

People rarely dress up for meals in London, even at Michelin star places. Black lock (in Soho or Covent Garden) is amazing if you love meat. Hawksmoor do great steak and burgers, Seven Dials is my favourite branch. If you like BBQ food, Texas Joe’s is fairly close to your hotel and does fantastic ribs and tacos.

I'm looking for somewhere that don't mind jeans, t shirt, trainers and hoodies.

Blacklock won't mind those clothes, i agree most places will be fine.

There are loads of steak and burger options. How close do you want? Any other considerations?

Black lock is good, teens love dishoom if you can be arsed to queue, ping pong in south bank is nearby and fun.

I back the suggestions for Blacklock and Dishoom. Sophie's in Soho is also nice for teens - buzzy and lively. Duck and Waffle is great for more of a treat - it is 40 storeys up so great views over the city.

You'd be hard pressed to find anywhere in London that minds jeans and trainers etc. Hardly anyone dresses up in London! I'd go to the Hawksmoor for amazing steak, it's fab. Gaucho is nice as well.

Westminster Kitchen

We ended up at the Gillray, really nice place and brought out cake with a candle etc which was a nice touch. Expensive but a good one off treat.
