Any suggestions for a uk holiday first week of October?

We have left it late, but need inspiration for a Uk holiday from the 1st/2nd October for a week, with 2 children (one 3, one will be 4 months) we ideally don't want to go more than 200 miles from east Suffolk, but Norfolk and Essex are a bit too close! Thanks!

We had a low-key off-season beach holiday when I had a toddler and a newborn. It was lovely just to sit on the sand miles from the nearest person nursing or with a sleeping baby while toddler played happily in the sand or shallows in front of us.
