U.K. holiday with lake swimming/activities

I am looking for a lakeside lodge or cabin type holiday where swimming is allowed in the lake, not just fishing. Has anyone been on this type of holiday?

Just been looking for exactly that myself. Haven't come up with much so far though! It always seems that fishermen are well catered for.

I think Cotswold water park allows swimming in some of the lakes? Haven’t been myself though

Saw some paddle boards & small sailing boats too
Campsite next to Lake too
