Hello! We’ll be spending 3 days in Nottingham next week with my 5 year old and 6 month old. Can anyone recommend fun things to do please? My son loves dinosaurs so already got Woolatton Hall on the list. Also our hotel is just off the M1 so any cheap parking recommendations would be much appreciated! Thanks

Stonebridge City Farm - has a car park and if it’s full you can park on the road all day for £2.20
Green’s Mill and Science Centre - free parking in the car park on Windmill Lane.
If you don’t mind travelling slightly further afield, then the Great Central Railway and Sherwood Pines are nice activities with young children. There’s a gruffalo trail at Sherwood.

@Ricekrispie22 Thankyou so much that’s really helpful, the Gruffalo trail sounds fab!

Nottingham Contemporary is a small art gallery (very small will only take 10 mins) but is doing childrens craft sessions at the minute. They are free, but you do have to book. We spent an hour crafting there last week which was lovely. It's in the city centre, can park at the forest park and ride for free and then just pay for the tram.

The castle has been refurbed recently and also in city centre. Not been recently so unsure if it's worth a visit.

Penny Lane in the city centre would be a good place for food, it has games inside link donkey derby which could be fun.

Outside of the city we like Newstead Abbey, Rufford Park and Sherwood Pines for nice walks and a stop at a cafe.
