Can anyone help with restaurant recommendations for Barnstaple or nearby please? Family friendly for an early evening birthday meal.

Claytons in Barnstaple is a bit more special that average and there’s something on the menu for everyone.
If you don’t mind a bit of a drive, then definitely Beachside Grill in Saunton.
The Seagate in Appledore is also lovely.
