Have booked a beach apartment end of Aug and fancy a couple of days out & about.

Last year we went to Eden project, Newquay fishing and St Michaels mount.

Any other good days nearby suitable for 12 yr old & a dog ? Smile

The North to South cycle trail that starts in Portreath and goes to Deveron is nice but prob a bit too much for a dog to walk.
Porthtowan is a lovely beach and you can do the cliff walk round to Chapel Porth which is lovely followed by a drink in the Blue bar

A trip to the Minack theatre would be my top suggestion although that’s probably not dog friendly. Cycle the Camel trail from Wadebridge to Padstow and back (I think you can hire dog trailers at the bike hire place).

Crantock beach is lovely but go early as car park is small and was full but 9.30 am last week.
Holywell golf- 18 hole pitch and putt is good fun with kids.
Cardinham Woods for walking and cycling, and the cafe does the most amazing sausage rolls

The minnack theatre is dog friendly for the tour, but not for performances. It’s beautiful and definitely worth a visit!

Paradise Park in Hayle is great (but presumably not dog-friendly)

St Michael's Mount is an excellent day out.
