Whitby museum?

Whitby museum is fab. Boggle hole with raincoats!?! Dracula experience….

I love Robin Hoods Bay but there's not a lot to do there besides beach. You could head to Scarborough or Whitby. Raincoats on and climb up to the Abbey. Goathland is very scenic and there is a steam train.

Well, you are handy for the famous Stephen Joseph Theatre in the Round in Scarborough although probably too late to book tickets. You could visit the building and shop and go to the in-theatre restaurant Eat Me, however - safest to book in advance.

Whitby Museum is excellent. Dinosaurs and shrivelled witch's hand!

Go on the North York Moors Railway.

Scarborough Sealife Centre if it is really really wet (along with everyone else).

Or go to York for the day - theatres, museums, art gallery, shops, restaurants, cathedral.

We have had an amazing dry spell up here on the Yorkshire coast (much better weather than down south) but it has just started raining literally as I am typing this.
