My dd turns 16 tomorrow and we haven’t booked anywhere for an evening meal for us to take her. Any suggestions?

What does she enjoy food wise? How fancy are you thinking?

Thethingswedoforlove · 27/07/2021 14:17

She likes her meat. No real limit price wise but I think something down to Earth rather than too formal and stuffy probably.

Smokestak, if you can get a reservation.

Bodeans is good - huge BBQ meat platters.

Thethingswedoforlove · 27/07/2021 14:24

Great ideas
Thank you

Brasserie Zedel

Less exciting - Bill’s

Vapiano

These are where my teens generally go.

Fivemoreminutes1 · 27/07/2021 14:38

Shaka Zulu - fun and great if she likes meat
Dishoom- good range of mocktails
Oxo tower restaurant - the view makes it a little special. Nice food and not overpriced.
Coppa Club Tower Bridge - really pretty outdoor dining with a special view. Also does non-alcoholic cocktails

DS likes his burgers, so was very keen to go to Honest Burger - lots of outposts around London.

MarleneDietrichsSmile · 27/07/2021 16:04

My teens love China town

StevieNix · 27/07/2021 16:23

Dishoom!

FatAnkles · 27/07/2021 16:26

Gaucho or Hawksmoor. Both are big on meat but it's a treat! (£££)

Burger and Lobster too.

Thethingswedoforlove · 27/07/2021 17:04

So many great suggestions. Shame I a veggie isn’t it Grin

Wahaca is good fun - Mexican food with plenty for meat eaters and veggies. Mocktails etc.

MrsBungle · 27/07/2021 18:42

Darwin Brasserie in sky garden? My young teen loved that.

Theworldisfullofgs · 27/07/2021 18:49

Wahaca! Teenage son loves it.

TomAllenWife · 27/07/2021 19:00

Another vote for Gaucho, the food is exceptional

sskanky · 27/07/2021 19:02

Meatliquor

superram · 27/07/2021 19:03

Sketch, is quite cool and all the young people I work with go. Bodeans is great but not special, I didn’t think hawksmoor was worth the money.

JennyWreny · 27/07/2021 19:05

Duck and Waffle - great views

Thethingswedoforlove · 27/07/2021 23:41

Thank you all

My teen absolute loves entrecôte relaisdevenise.com
They have a restaurant in Marylebone and Soho. Set menu of walnut salad followed by a delicious steak and fries, after which they bring you seconds. We love it when they bring the seconds! It's a lovely experience and a real fave of ours.

Ah is this the same as the Paris one @Butterfly44? With the green sauce?
Butterfly44 · 28/07/2021 07:56

@Bryonyshcmyony Yes, same as the one in Paris. The sauce is divine. Marylebone branch is our fave, very pretty and authentic

Bryonyshcmyony · 28/07/2021 08:01

Marvellous thank you

Thethingswedoforlove · 28/07/2021 09:54
