DH’s birthday this week and he’s made a last minute decision that we’ll go to the cricket for the day. Can anyone recommend a nice place for lunch or brunch within a twenty minute walk, or with parking nearby? There will be five of us, adults and older teens, a mix of definitely carnivorous and definitely vegan. Thank you.

Camden market! Bit closer to half hr walk but along the canal so it’s lovely. Amazing food of all types so something for everyone. If you’re wanting a sit down meal though, there’s Soutine on the St. John’s Wood high st - french cafe type place. Cafe Laville in Little Venice, the summerhouse in Warwick Avenue, Paddington pergola has a bunch of stalls too.

Crocker’s Folly is within an easy walk and has several vegan options on the main menu.

Thank you both. Have booked Crocker’s Folly as have been to its Earls Court sister and loved it. Also the building looks amazing!
