We've delayed booking anything due to covid and now I really need to get something sorted (two months time). We'd have probably gone abroad, so need some inspiration.
Requirements:
England or Wales (not Somerset/Devon way though as we've been that way a few times in recent past)
We'll be hotel based, but want either countryside or nice streets immediately on the doorstep (don't want to use car too much).
Somewhere near sea, lake, river would be nice.
We enjoy walking, pottering, scenery and eating out.
Any thoughts?
