(and mum and dad)

Hi

We're going to North Wales next month and wondered if anyone has any ideas of fun days out/ cool places to visit etc etc.

Sadly we are going Monday to Friday as because its not the school holiday, some of the theme parks are only open at weekends!!

The cable car at Llandudno, or the mining museum nearby. You can amuse the five year old with the story of the goats.
Snowdon train even though it is not going to the top (when I went there was a four or five year old sat opposite who loved it).

My 4 year old liked pili palas.

We've just come back and harlech Castle was enjoyed by a 5 year old.
Also greenwood family Park is great.

Bodnant Gardens.

Smallest house in Conwy.

Conwy Castle

Lots at Llandudno. The Prom is great for scooters, there's a beach and a pier ad the cable cars and train to the top of the Orme and there's toboganing as well. Lunch from Cottage Loaf (I'd book now, it's very popular) or chips from Barnacles Chip Shop.

Walk up snowdon? Mine did it at 6&8, or there's a train. Portmerion is brilliant

welshweasel · 21/06/2021 19:38

We went at half term and did Welsh mountain zoo, Greenwood family park, llanberis lake railway, bodnant garden and the seaquarium. 5 year old enjoyed all of them. Also went to the beach, Conwy castle, few play parks etc.

welshweasel · 21/06/2021 19:39

We enjoyed Llandudno west shore, Morfa Conwy, colwyn bay and newborough for beaches.

imaginethemdragons · 21/06/2021 19:40

Another vote for Greenwood, it’s bloody brilliant!

whiteroseredrose · 21/06/2021 19:43

Conwy has a castle - great for dressing up as a Knight - and the world's smallest house.

I think there is a Butterfly farm there too.

Greenwood Forest Park has a people powered gentle roller-coaster, a pull yourself boat and green toboggan slope.
