I bought staysure insurance and it says that if UK goes into lockdown or you can't go because you have covid or have been told you have to self isolate it will cover you.

You're not going to need it

rookiemere · 20/06/2021 08:30

@Pootle40 but might need it if forced to self isolate

I took out the extra insurance with Cottages.com/Hoseasons. Probably won't be needed but nice to know it's there. Travelling from Wales and staying in Devon so different rules.

I would check if it covers having to self-isolate. Someone I know had to cancel a holiday because they were told to self-isolate but because they didn't test positive themselves the policy didn't pay out. Rookiemere's policy sounds better!

We're going v soon so won't be an issue! Thanks though.
