Where would you like to stay in the UK for a month?

We have a chance to take an extended break in the UK for a a month next summer. Where would be lovely to base ourselves and has plenty to do for a 9 year old?

Anglesey or Snowdonia? Lots of outdoor activities, beautiful beaches and scenery, castles ...

Do you have to stay in one place? Why not travel about a bit?

I'd be tempted to do a new location each week.

North Devon around Padstow
Pembrokshire coast/Gower
North Norfolk coast

Jersey

Long slow tour of Scotland? But possibly midge season in some areas.
I think I'd be tempted to do 2 x areas otherwise.

Scotland would be fab. Or Northumberland/lakes

Guess it depends where you are just now? I’d love to do Norfolk broads

A month is a long time, I’d have to split that into 2 or 3 locations. Or, better still, hire a campervan and just go wherever you fancy!

Isle of skye/harris/Lewis.

I'd love a month along the West Coast of Scotland but it depends what kind 9f thing you like doing

Where are you from?

If I wanted a holiday, I'd do a week in each of four different locations in either Cornwall or Wales.
Or just park myself somewhere lovely for the whole month and pretend I lived there.

I'd properly explore Yorkshire or Scotland. Somewhere that has lots of different landscapes.

My ideal holiday within UK, for a month, would be staying at several locations in West /NW/Mid Wales. Absolutely stunning!

Elie, East Neuk of Fife. Loads to do close by and Edinburgh is an easy trip.
