Hi, any tips on nice things to do for young romantic couple in St Ives/ West Cornwall area, have car so distance say driving an hour would be ok.

They like outdoor activities, walking, cycling, maybe surfing/ boaty things.

Also, nice places to eat or good takeaway suggestions, they will happily picnic somewhere scenic.

Best gardens/ art/ galleries etc?

Many thanks in advance for any ideas.

Don't picnic in St Ives - the seagulls are terrifying!
The Porthminster beach cafe and its sister the Porthminster Kitchen are not cheap, but amazing.
Hubbox is good (and has cocktails), but Blas is even better for burgers in St Ives.
Nice pubs: the Gunard's Head (long-ish, and challenging but beautiful walking from St Ives), the Tinner's in Zennor, Halsetown Inn.
Lots of amazing walks - make use of the open top bus to do one-way coastpath walks.
Sennen and Porthcurno are both rightly popular. They each have a quieter similar but slightly less accessible beach close by if avoiding crowds is the thing.
On a good night, the Minack theatre is an amazing place to be.
Philps pasties!
You can hire boats in St Ives. There are boat trips too. Lots of places to hire SUPs or surfboards.
If they have the cash, a day trip to the Scillies is well worth it. The Scillies are incredible.
