Restaurant in Canterbury good with toddlers?

Can anyone recommend a decent restaurant in Canterbury (or nearby-ish -Sandwich etc) that is good with toddlers?

We tend to go to Cafe Rouge as friends like to eat there and they are good with littlies but it is quite pricey for what it is and I would like to branch out but don't want the hassle of other diners tutting if our 2 lo's are less than the little angels we all want them to be when eating out!

Goods shed is good. Pricey but the food is yum and toddlers like playing with the stones and looking at the trains. They also like being taken round the market.

Wagammas but service is a bit hit and miss but the small chopsticks are a winner

Always thought this in whitstable
would be great but can never work out when it is open

God I live 5 mins from the Goods shed but never take my kids out to eat - I am far too lazy to risk any sort of 'behaviour'!!!

It is probably the best option here though. Ask were crap about BF last time we went there.

Oh god no! Sorry Meggle, I ought to have explained but not been on much due to active baby yesterday!!

I posted something about someone who works at the Goods shed, then realised it might sound libellous so asked for it to be removed!!! Sorry to cause confusion. The second post was trying to backtrack before they managed to remove it

No need to worry, it was pretty silly - not about what they put in the soup or anything!!!!!

I keep wondering if I know you two now!!

My older one is at Blean. Every time I drop him at school I see mums and think 'You look like ... from MN, I'm sure it's you!'

But of course am far too scared to ask
