This is very boring but does anyone know the realistic travel time from Birmingham to York on a Friday afternoon?
Google maps suggests 3 hours but it regularly took that long to get to Lancaster which is nowhere near as far and we didn't do it on a Friday.
Someone suggested more like 5 hours so I'm just trying to figure out if it's worth going for a weekend if it's going to take that long there and back, particularly if it's going to rain all weekend!
And we're slightly to the west of Birmingham and going slightly north of York.
