Is centre parks worth the money? Any alternatives?

I have just come into some money and would like to spend it on a holiday, I have 2 teens who are both disabled (both ASD and some physical disabilities), I’m not sure if centre parks would really suit us as the dc’s are not that keen on activities, or eldest isn’t. Is there any alternatives?

Budget around £2000, would love use of a private hot tub and somewhere that’s not too busy, in the forest a bonus.

Thank you, I will have a look at some of these this evening.
We are looking for either the last week of August or last week of October (half term).

Forest Holidays could cover your hot tub and forest needs. They are lovely and lots have activities on site or near by.

Have you looked at Bluestones in Wales - very similar to centre parcs but not as expensive. You can hire little buggies to drive around the site.

Bluestone and forest holidays are booked up for the dates we want Sad.

I've not been, but have a look at Fforest in Wales. There is one near Snowdon near zip wires and things.

I am guessing you don't want to risk going abroad? If you were able to go in the last week of the school holidays most European children have gone back to school?

I second forest holidays. Your own hot tub, a forest, we get a bbq and wood burner (for marshmallows). We cycle, go geocaching and generally pootle. The accommodation is big enough for everyone to chill out and we’ve done Forest of Dean and thetFord. Both great.

How about Landal woodland lakes near Thirsk? It seems to have some availability with hot tubs. If you’re looking for a week you do need to generally book either a Friday or Monday start date with hoseasons. I’d also recommend Landal Kielder but the prices are astronomical this summer!

Love2Stay near Shrewsbury have hot tubs/activities/ and lodges etc. think they are fully booked in summer, but might be ok for October? x
