Sunday lunch/brunch in Bristol

I’m looking for somewhere for a late brunch/early Sunday lunch in Bristol in May.

It needs to be in the area around the docks or Temple Meads so we can get the train straight afterwards.

There isn’t much choice of nice places to eat near Temple Meads I’m afraid. I’d probably go to Recess in Hilton Garden Inn as it has a lovely terrace. I know that you don’t have to stay there to eat off the all-day menu, but not sure about breakfast/brunch. There’s also a pretty good Italian called Don Giovanni’s.

It just needs to be in the flat bit of the centre so we can get a 2pm train.

We’ve got San Carlo booked for the Friday night, so probably not another Italian but thank you.

If this will be after 17th May then Riverstation would be ideal. It is closed until then but taking reservations.
