Chester area pubs with outdoor dining

We’re booked to stay for a week in Mickle Trafford at the end of April, and as we’ll be allowed to dine outside by then, wondered if anyone could recommend anywhere nice either in Chester or surrounding villages please?

Hickory's Smokehouse by the river...lovely quality pub-type food but a bit nicer than usual. Right by the river, so pretty. Since you're in Mickle Trafford you should try the Chester Fields....lovely pub! Bit higher end than your run of the mill type place.

You might also like a trip to Port Sunlight while you're in Chester area. It's only about half an hour away www.visitliverpool.com/things-to-do/port-sunlight-village-p242671 The art gallery is a gem.

Definitely agree with the Chester Fields.
Stamford Bridge Inn has a large beer garden and if you want somewhere for brunch/lunch, then the Bluebird Cafe at Barrowmore now has outdoor seating.

Delayers Forrest is close by and there's a lovely restaurant near there plus there's the fox and barrel close by which is amazing, frodsham is a little market town with numerous nice pubs too
