Holiday cottage - bath or shower? Or both?!

Looking to buy a property to run as holiday let but wondering if there was no bath would it put you off?

If you can’t have both then definitely a shower over a bath

You need a bath for people to be able to wash their children.

Bath with a shower above if no space for a separate shower. I love a shower so wouldn't chose to stay somewhere that just had a bath, but I would need a bath for washing the kids. If I was travelling somewhere on my own/with DH we would be happy with just a shower, so it does depend on your target audience.

I would also want a dishwasher, I have one at home and wouldn't want to go on holiday and suddenly be lumbered with all the washing up. I could do without a washing machine now my boys are a bit older (2 & 4) but I think if you are travelling with a baby they are def handy.

As others have said, totally depends on your target market. Sure it's different for those with young families, I've never gone near a washing machine on holiday and would probably not book somewhere without a dishwasher.

Would rather have a bath option, but wouldn't stop me booking if there was just a proper shower.

A roll top bath would put me off, I don't know why but they give me the willies. I keep looking at dream properties on Rightmove and thinking "that freestanding bath would be the first thing to go".

@Twobrews that was a poor choice of phrasing from me.
I wouldn’t choose to rent somewhere without a bath if my children were small.
