Airbnb - who should cancel?

Our Easter break needs to be cancelled as it’s before 12th April. Should the host do this, or do I need to do it? And does it make any difference to the service charge refund (I believe you’re allowed 3 per year?)

I had a trip booked and the owner rang me to say they weren't comfortable with reopening (I don't think they'd be able to in light of the most recent announcements anyway) and they asked me to cancel because apparently it's easier to get my money back that way. I suspect they also don't want it to appear as a cancelation on their profile? I would read the T&Cs carefully and message the host if you aren't sure. Or at least drop them a line and explain you'll be cancelling before you just do it.
