Thinking of doing something a bit different this Summer in the UK.

DCs will be 13 and 14.

Outdoor activity sort of thing which includes meals and accommodation.

Does such a thing exist in the UK?

Do you mean just for your teens to go to, or do you mean to go to as a family ?

CalmConfident · 23/02/2021 00:04

In normal times YHA and PGL do things like this

BackforGood · 23/02/2021 00:05

If you mean the whole family, I think YHA normally do them

If you mean just the teens you are probably looking at someone like PGL

Why not look for a pub and organise your own activities to suit what you want?
This place has lots going on if its going to be open?
www.glasfryn.co.uk
Plenty of good accommodation nearby

BaconAndAvocado · 24/02/2021 11:47

funf I like the idea of basing ourselves at a pub, DH would be over the moon 😂

There's much better adventures who do some UK holidays, and also the national outdoor centre in Wales run various things as well.

livingthegoodlife · 24/02/2021 18:28

There's a place on Dartmoor that does this. www.manorhousehotel.co.uk/ but I've never been there so can't vouch for quality!

Its a fantastic base for seeing the area as loads to see and do within 30 mins drive, Snowdonia isnt far away so lots of outdoor stuff, Small Ski and Toboggan Run and copper mine In Llandudno.
Lots of accommodation in the area.

My DS 12 went to Warmwell Holiday park in Dorchester last year with his friends family. Loads to do including skiing, swimming, high rope course etc.
